Dr. Kimberly A. Lannon |

Dr. Kimberly Lannon, Psy.D., LMHC, CPRP, has been in practice since 1997 and is a licensed, double mastered clinical counselor who also holds a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch New Elngland Graduate School, in Keene, NH. She specializes in Sports Psychology. Dr. Lannon is a member of multiple professional psychological associations and is a former competitive member of the USAIGC's Women's National Junior Elite Gymnastics Team. She is a primary contributing writer to the United States Elite Coaches Association Journal and is a featured writer for Cheer Coach and Advisor magazine and is an adjunct professor at Middlesex Community College. Dr. Lannon has extensive experience as a Clinical Rehabilitation Coordinator and was an on staff clinician of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for McLean Hospitals' (1997-2005) geriatric population, the largest psychiatric training facility of Harvard Medical School, and an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital since. She completed her doctoral training at Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial VA, where she worked with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and combat trauma survivors. Dr. Lannon has a dual specialty in addition to Sport Psychology. She specializes in Psychosocial Rehabilitative Techniques for those with severe mental illness and substance abuse. Dr. Lannon provides care for amateur and pro athletes, Vietnam and returning Iraqi veterans, as well as for individuals age 5 and up, who are dealing with mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, Personality disorders and substance abuse issues. She has expansive psychopharmacological (medication) knowledge and a holistic approach overall. She offers groups in alcohol and substance abuse recovery, PTSD, building relationships, health and wellness, and personal goal setting. She teaches techniques that help motivate individuals in making healthier lifestyle choices, reducing stress, increasing self-confidence, and encouraging daily productivity with the emphasis on fostering balance between the mind, body and spirit. Dr. Lannon offers workshops and consultations to business organizations, athletic teams, and individuals. Dr. Lannon is a trained actor and former Miss Vermont National Teen-Ager and former Ms. Massachusetts America. She enjoys guest lecturing at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, writing about motivation and performance, and enhancing individual’s quality of life by imparting effective and fun strategies to make life more fulfilling. |
