Dr. Kimberly Lannon
PsyD, LMHC, CMHIMP
Being a former competitive elite athlete, I understand the need for certified psychological coaching in a demanding physical setting. Faltering motivation and outside pressure are only a few of many factors that can cause mental stress and setbacks. GameFace Sports Consulting was founded with this in mind.
My qualifications also allow me to provide cognitive-behavioral therapy and other techniques for a wide range of clientele with anxiety and depression disorders. This includes PTSD assessments, diagnostic services, and disability examinations for U.S. serrvice members Veterans. As an outpatient therapist, my work emphasizes holistic rehabilitation and preventative psychological counseling services.
At present, I am not only a practicing clinical psychologist, but I am also an Adjunct Professor at Middlesex Community College, in Bedford Massachusetts. I teach in the Certified Addiction and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADAC) Program, and I am the primary professor for Family Therapy Counseling and Group Dynamics class as well as Interpersonal Dynmaics in Counseling class. Students in the undergraduate Associate’s Degree Program may also find me teaching multiple sections of Introduction to Psychology, Positive Psychology and Explorations in Human Behavior.
As a doctor of Clinical Psychology, a licensed mental health counselor, and a certified sport psychology coach, GameFace Sports Consulting represents the best of what I’ve learned and experienced in more than two decades of being an academic and healthcare professional.
